Kurdistan Region - Republic of India Trade Center Opens

Today, Wednesday, April 9, 2025, in the presence of Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil; Safeen Dizayee, Head of the [KRG] Department of Foreign Relations; Sarwar Hawari, Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry; the Ambassador of India to Iraq; the Consul General of India in Erbil; the Head of the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations; and a large number of businesspeople and investors, the Kurdistan Region - India Trade Center was opened in a ceremony.
 

During the ceremony, the Governor of Erbil, while offering congratulations, described the opening of this center as a good opportunity for expanding the trade relations between the two sides.
