Erbil... A ceremony was held on World Diabetes Day
On World Diabetes Day, the General Directorate of Health in Erbil, in partnership with the Peace Health Organization, held a joint conference. The conference, which was held today, Monday, November 24, 2025, in the presence of Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, Falah Hassan, Head of the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations, and a number of doctors, specialists, and students, presented several topics on diabetes awareness and the latest treatments for diabetes.
At the same time, several scientific topics on diabetes, its effects, prevention methods, and medical advice were presented by a group of expert doctors.
The Governor of Erbil, while praising the supervisors and organizers, emphasized the social and scientific awareness campaign against diabetes and hoped that the results of the conference would lead to the advancement of treatments for the disease.
