Erbil Governor and Coordinator of International Advocacy Discuss Human Rights Situation and Coordination

Today, Wednesday, April 22, 2026, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, received Dr. Dindar Zebari, Kurdistan Regional Government's (KRG) Coordinator for International Advocacy, at the Governorate Diwan.
 

During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the importance of developing cooperation between both sides, especially on issues related to the implementation of international Advocacy and the Kurdistan Regional Government's reforms in the field of human rights protection and the rule of law. Also, during the meeting, the method of working with international organizations and preparing periodic reports was discussed, with the aim of presenting a true and progressive image of the situation of peace and coexistence in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, to the international community.
