In Erbil... TEDx Qalat Street Event Held at the Historic Erbil Citadel

Tonight, Saturday, October 24, 2026, the TEDx Qalat Street event took place at the historic Erbil Citadel. The event was attended by the Governor of Erbil, alongside several government officials, prominent figures, entrepreneurs, business leaders, and investors.

Organized by the Board of Investment under the theme "From Roots to Reach," the event aimed to gather and exchange major, innovative ideas and to facilitate discussions on the future of Kurdistan, drawing upon historical, cultural, and social dimensions.

As part of the event's activities, and in partnership with the French Institute in Erbil, a number of folkloric and musical performances were presented.

These performances seamlessly blended authentic Kurdish music with contemporary sounds, serving as an expression of the connection between cultural authenticity and shared modernity.
