In Erbil... The Fifth International Scientific Conference on Diabetes Was Held

On Wednesday, October 2, 2024, with the attendance of Dr. Saman Barzanji, Minister of Health, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, Dr. Dlovan Mohammed, General Director of Health, and several other country representatives, doctors, specialists, and experts, the Kurdistan Diabetes Association held the Fifth International Scientific Conference on Diabetes in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region. Doctors and specialists from five countries (Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq) as well as several pharmaceutical companies participated in the event.
 

At the conference, several scientific medical topics related to diabetes at the level of Kurdistan, Iraq, and the world were discussed. Emphasis was placed on the topics that are currently advanced globally and are being worked on in the medical field. Additionally, the latest developments in the medical field were discussed by specialists and experts in diabetes, with the aim of bringing these advancements and treatments from developed countries to the Kurdistan Region and benefiting the people of Kurdistan and Iraq, in coordination with both local and international doctors.
