Erbil Governor and Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Visit Qaysari Bazaar, Sultan Muzaffar Shrine, and Choly Minaret

This afternoon, Saturday April 19, 2025, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, accompanied by Aydin Maruf, Minister of State for Minority Affairs, received Nuh Yilmaz, Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkey, and Erman Topchu, Turkish Consul General in Erbil.
 

During the meeting, they discussed strengthening relations between Turkey and the Kurdistan Region and further developing commercial ties between both sides. Afterward, they visited Qaysari Bazaar, Sultan Muzaffareddin Shrine, and Choly Minaret.
 

For his part, the Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister thanked the Governor of Erbil for the reception and expressed his pleasure at the peace, security, and freedom established in the capital of the Kurdistan Region.
