Erbil Governor Visits AK Party Headquarters in Diyarbakir

On Wednesday, May 13, 2026, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, as part of his official visit to Diyarbakir and participation in the "Social Peace and Freedom Forum," visited the main headquarters of the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) in Diyarbakir. He was welcomed by Omer Iler, head of the AK Party's Diyarbakir branch, and a number of other officials and senior members of the party.
 

During the meeting, both sides emphasized strengthening bilateral relations and developing joint cooperation.
Additionally, the issue of peaceful resolution of problems through dialogue was discussed, and the role and position of the aforementioned party in the region were highlighted.
