In Erbil... Launch Ceremony of the Youth Strategy Held

On Tuesday, September 15, 2026, as part of efforts to unite local and international initiatives to create new opportunities and channel the energy of young people toward further development and reconstruction in the Kurdistan Region, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, attended the launch ceremony of the "Youth Strategy Project." The event was jointly organized in coordination between the Rwanga Foundation, Kurdistan Save the Children, and Save the Children International.
During the ceremony, emphasis was placed on the adoption of this significant strategic initiative, which aims to develop a comprehensive roadmap for capacity building and safeguarding the rights of young people across the Kurdistan Region.

The launch of this joint project focuses on several key pillars and objectives, notably enhancing the vocational and academic skills of youth through modern training programs aligned with job market demands, and ensuring a healthy, secure environment for adolescents and young people in collaboration with international experts across various areas of community development.
