Notice to citizens of Erbil

In continuation of the completion of the strategic sewerage project of 30 meters - 60 meters street, we inform citizens that on Friday morning, November 11, 2022. Both sides of 30 meters street from the traffic light near the French Consulate to near Haji Hussein Mosque will be closed for (90) days.

The 30-meter to 60-meter street box sewerage project is being implemented at a cost of about (2 billion and 500 million dinars) in order to solve the problem of rainwater accumulation and prevent floods in the center of Erbil, and now part of the project is completed on 60 meters street,The other part of the project will be completed on 30 meters street and consists of construction of box sewerage with a length of (1200 meters), on 30 meters street near the Council of Ministers building to 60 meters street near the silo Rainwater in the 30-meter street and the pressure on the sewerage networks of the region and therefore the sewerage system of Erbil in this zone will see progress.
