The 132 KV Shawes substation was inaugurated at a cost of (15 million and 917 thousand) dollars

This morning, Monday, November 14, 2022. Under the supervision of Prime Minister, Mr. Masrour Barzani, in the presence of Kamal Mohammed Salih, Minister of Electricity, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, Mayor of Erbil Plain, Director General of Electricity Distribution of Erbil, Director of Distribution District of Kasnazan, Erbil Electricity One and Two and a number of other engineers and other officials, at a cost of (15 million 917) thousand dollars on the budget of the Kurdistan Regional Government, the 132 KV Shawes substation opened, which was implemented by Zagros Company.

The governor said: “The opening of this station will provide a great service to all the areas located within the station and will solve the burden that existed on the networks of the country. We would like to thank the Ministry of Electricity and the Minister of Electricity for their efforts in the past, which have presented a number of important projects in Erbil governorate. We assure the people of our governorate within the framework of government programs and on the direct recommendation of the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government in all sectors will continue these service projects, our desire as Erbil governorate is much more than that, because the citizens of our governorate deserve to be provided with more and better services."
