Khabat district: At a cost of (four billion eight hundred and sixty two million) dinars, several service projects will implement on the governorate development budget
On Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Under the supervision of Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil and in the presence of Massoud Karash, Deputy Governor and Kwestan Ahmad, Mayor of Khabat, Khurshid Tahir, Deputy Director General of Erbil Municipalities, Rebin Awni, Head of Khabat Municipality and party and government officials in the continuation of public service projects in Erbil governorate, on the governorate development budget, in a ceremony, the foundation stone of several projects was laid and a number of other service projects were visited.
The governor explained that sixteen projects are planned to be implemented in Khabat, about (five billion) dinars have been allocated for them. These projects are not only in the center of Khabat, but also in the district area and villages. The governor stressed that the lion's share of the type of projects is due to road rehabilitation because it requires serious renovation.
In a speech to the media, the governor of Erbil pointed out the importance of Khabat district and also announced the good news of paving the main street of Khabat / Erbil to the residents of Khabat. It is a strategic and important trade route and the road of dozens of villages of poor and revolutionary people, he said, adding that the residents of Khabat deserve all services.
It is worth mentioning that the concrete road construction project in Shahidan neighborhood at a cost of (297,250,000) dinars has been allocated from the governorate development budget.
