Both Kornish Canal bridges were opened to the public

In the framework of delivering service projects in Erbil governorate, on Thursday, December 29, 2022. Erbil Governor, Omed Khoshnaw, accompanied by Deputy Governor Massoud Karash, in a ceremony attended by the Deputy of the Head of Erbil Municipality, the Director of Municipality 4 and a number of other engineers and supervisors of the project, the two bridges near Bilal Khaylani Mosque and Zilani City in Erbil, which were completed at a cost of (792 million 272 thousand dinars), on the budget of the development of Erbil governorate.

Erbil governor congratulated the residents of the region “This year, several measures and projects have been launched in Erbil to prevent the recurrence of floods, one of the projects was the construction of these two bridges, which will also reduce floods in our city, it also makes a lot easier for citizens to travel”.
