The foundation stone of the first phase of the project of construction and paving of local roads was laid in Grd jutyar at a cost of (365 million dinars)

On Thursday, December 29, 2022. Erbil Governor, Omed Khoshnaw, in the presence of Massoud Karash, Deputy Governor of Erbil, in a ceremony at a cost of (365 million dinars) on 15% of the revenue of the Presidency of Erbil Municipality, foundation stone of the first phase of the project of construction and paving of local streets in Grd jutyar was laid.

In the ceremony, which was attended by the Deputy of the Head of Municipality, Director of Municipality 2 and a number of citizens, the Governor of Erbil, he congratulated the people of Grd jutyar for implementing these projects, said: ”If the area has not been served properly in the past, it will be done in the future within the framework of the development projects of Erbil governorate and under the orders and recommendations of the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government. We will provide more services to the poor in the communities, districts and villages of our province equally between the city and outside the city and they will receive prosperity”.

The governor also said: “We understand the demands of the citizens and during this period we have done a lot of work on the development budget, in addition to the Erbil governorate, the revenue of the Presidency of Erbil Municipality and the special budget. We will certainly serve more citizens of our governorate next year and provide more service projects”.
