The foundation stone of several streets in Shaqlawa was laid at a cost of more than 400 million dinars
Today Saturday, December 31, 2022. Under the supervision of Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, the foundation stone of the project of paving several streets in Shaqlawa was laid in a ceremony at a cost of (440 million and 625 thousand dinars) on the development budget of Erbil governorate, the project will be implemented on a contract basis and the completion period is (90) days. The ceremony was attended by Massoud Karash, Deputy Governor, Nzar Mala Ghaffar, member of the Kurdistan Parliament, representatives of the 24th Sfen branch of the Party Democratic Kurdistan, Karwan Karim Khan, Shaqlawa District Mayor and Deputy Director General of Municipalities.
The governor of Erbil, while congratulating the residents of Shaqlawa district, highlighted the service projects that have been carried out in Erbil this year and for next year is in the plan and program of Erbil governorate to start carrying out other service projects.
He said: "We hope that the financial situation will improve and we will have the necessary budget so that we can provide more and better services to Shaqlawa district and other districts and Subdistricts of our governorate,".
He also said: “Under the orders and recommendations of Prime Minister Mr. Masrour Barzani, we will carry out service projects equally between the city and outside the city. Our desire is to provide more services to all the poor neighborhoods, communities, districts, Subdistricts and villages in our governorate and to reach prosperity to all those places that need more attention."
