Governor of Erbil: “A modern nursing home will be opened in Erbil in the next few days”

On the 21nd of April, 2023. Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, visited the Erbil Nursing Home and had lunch with them to congratulate them on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr and to closely study their daily lives and health situations, as well as to provide their necessities.

During his visit, the governor congratulated the center's directors and supervisors for their efforts in carrying out and performing their tasks, the comfort of the elderly, deficiencies, health conditions, and needs, he also declared that a modern nursing home capable of housing a significant number of old people will open in Erbil in the coming days.

"As Erbil governorate, we pay special attention to and closely monitor the elderly and Juvenile home for boys and girls in Erbil." They are our kin, and it is our responsibility to serve them and look after their life and health."

 It is worth mentioning that the Director General of Social Welfare and Development of Erbil, Director of Internal Affairs of Erbil governorate, Director of Juvenile home for boys and girls in Erbil and Director of EJCC/Erbil governorate accompanied the Governor.
