Erbil ... UN World Volunteer Day was celebrated with various activities

Today, Thursday, December 7, 2023, the UN World Volunteer Day was celebrated with various activities in the presence of Massoud Karash, Deputy Governor of Erbil, Jwan Fathullah, Mayor of Erbil Plain, Director of Erbil Governorate Crisis Response and Coordination, Director of Gardens and Parks Engineering, and a number of foreign organizations.

Every year, volunteers and activists in the Kurdistan Region in general, and Erbil in particular, take advantage of this opportunity to carry out activities and showcase their abilities. In this context, the Erbil Governorate, in collaboration with the United Nations, planted over 500 trees in Hawar Park in Bnaslawa, in which dozens of volunteers participated and celebrated this historic day.
