The body of Commander Akam Omar was buried in the presence of the representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government 

On Saturday, December 17, 2022. The body of Commander Akam Omar, commander of the Kurdistan Commando Forces, was buried in Sheikh Ahmad cemetery in Erbil, in the presence of Omed Khoshnaw, representative of Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and his relatives. In the ceremony, the governor of Erbil conveyed his condolences to the family of Commander Akam and wished God to grant his soul peace in Paradise and patience and peace to everyone.
