Kurdistan Region Delegation arrives in Tehran

This morning, Thursday, May 22, 2025, the Kurdistan Regional Government delegation, headed by Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, arrived at Mehrabad Airport in Tehran, the capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The delegation consisted of Dr. Ali Tatar, Governor of Duhok, Dr. Haval Abubakr, Governor of Sulaymaniyah, Nuxsha Nasih, Governor of Halabja, Shaker Hussein, Head of Region-Iran Relations, the heads of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Erbil and Duhok, and the head of Haji Omran International Border Crossing.

It is scheduled for today that the Kurdistan Regional Government delegation will meet with Mr. Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In addition to this meeting, they are also set to meet with the Governor of Tehran and the Tehran Chamber of Commerce.
