Congratulatory Message from the Governor of Erbil on International Women's Day

On the occasion of March 8th, International Women's Day, we extend our congratulations to women worldwide, in Kurdistan in general, and in the capital Erbil in particular.
 

Throughout the history of our people's liberation movement, the women of Kurdistan have played a prominent and influential role alongside men in struggle and endeavor. Today, they continue to play a prominent and active role in the official institutions of the Kurdistan Region, and we wish them further success.
 

On this occasion, we commend all governmental and non-governmental organizations, institutions, and all individuals who advocate for women's rights.
