UNESCO Director in Iraq: We pay attention to education and protection of archaeological sites in the Kurdistan Region

According to what was stated on the Kurdistan Regional Government website, Safeen Dizayee Head of Department of Foreign Relations - Kurdistan Regional Government and Mr. Paolo Fantani, UNESCO Director in Iraq Met today.
 

In the meeting, Safeen Dizayee thanked UNESCO for their work and activities in the Kurdistan Region in the field of education and their projects to preserve culture. Both sides hoped to expand the level of projects in coordination with other institutions of the Kurdistan Regional Government.

The Director of UNESCO in Iraq, talked about their work and programs in the Kurdistan Region and said: “We pay attention to education and preservation of archaeological sites and culture sectors in the Kurdistan Region”.
