A (12) grade school was opened in Kawrugosik

On Tuesday, February 7, 2023. In the presence of Alan Hama Saeed Salih, Minister of Education and Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, Deputy United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the Mayor of Khabat District and the Director General of Education in Erbil and the Subdistrict Director of Kawrugosik and a number of other local officials, educators and teachers, Bokani (12) grade High School for Girls was opened in a ceremony in Kawrugosik subdistrict of Khabat district.

After the opening of the school, the Minister of Education and the Governor of Erbil visited the classrooms and other parts of the school and listened closely to the suggestions of the teachers.

It is worth mentioning that Bokani (12) grade High School for Girls was built on the budget of UNHCR, in coordination with the Ministry of Education of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
