Erbil… The activities and events of the thirteenth "Freedom and Newroz" festival continue

On Tuesday, March 13, 2023, the Governor of Erbil, Omed Khoshnaw, inaugurated an art exhibition featuring photographs of Erbil's experienced artists at the Artists Syndicate Hall in Erbil, the Capital, as part of the thirteenth "Freedom and Newroz" festival.

The Governor of Erbil congratulated the supervisors and those in charge of the exhibition during the ceremony, which was attended by Masoud Karsh, Deputy Governor, Akram Ahmed, Assistant Governor of Erbil, Nabaz Abdul Hamid, Erbil Central Mayor, Farhang Ghafoor, Director General of Culture and Arts in Erbil, and a number of artists and art lovers.

The Kurdistan Artists Union, on the other hand, honored the professor and theatrical artist (Zaher Mahmoud) in a special ceremony in the union's garden.

In his speech on this occasion, Erbil's governor praised the distinguished artist, Zaher Mahmoud, and emphasized the importance of continuing and developing Erbil's theatrical movement, which has deep historical roots.
