In Erbil... Turkish National Day Ceremony Held

Tonight, Thursday, October 29, 2026, a ceremony marking the National Day of the Republic of Turkey was held. Organized by the Turkish Consulate General in the capital, Erbil, the event was attended by Mr. Sidad Barzani, Representative of President Barzani; the Representative of the President of the Kurdistan Region; the Representative of the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government; a significant number of government officials, including the Governor of Erbil; representatives of political parties and civil society organizations; as well as diplomats and consuls from various countries.
 

During his participation, the Governor of Erbil extended his congratulations to the Consul General and the diplomatic staff of the Republic of Turkey. Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of strengthening and expanding the historical, social, and economic relations between the Kurdistan Region and Turkey.
