Message of congratulations from Erbil's Governor on the occasion of Newroz and Kurdish New Year

On the occasion of Newroz and the Kurdish New Year 2723, we extend our warmest congratulations to the proud families of martyrs, Anfal victims, heroic Peshmergas, security forces, and beloved citizens throughout Kurdistan, and especially Erbil.

We hope that the New Year and Newroz, the national celebration of resistance, resisting oppression, and liberty, and confrontation of injustice and tyranny, will provide an opportunity to achieve the unity of the Kurdish ranks, greater stability, and the promotion of a culture of coexistence, tolerance, acceptance of the other, prosperity, peace, and prosperity for all.

On this occasion, we ask the citizens to keep the environment clean and protect the beautiful nature of Kurdistan as a national responsibility.
