In Erbil... The first scientific conference on child protection in Kurdistan was held

On Thursday September 19, 2024, with the presence of Kwestan Muhammad, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, Kamal Muslim Saeed, Minister of Trade and Industry, Ano Jawhar, Minister of Transport and Communications, Abdullah Haji Mahmoud, Minister of Martyrs and Anfal Affairs, and a number of parliamentarians, consuls and envoys from various countries, ministry undersecretaries, general directors, representatives of international organizations, experts and university professors from the Kurdistan Region and other Iraqi cities, the Supreme Council for Child Protection Rights in the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Kurdistan Regional Government, in cooperation with UNICEF, Save the Children, the International Labour Organization, and the Kurdistan Child Protection Organization, held the first scientific conference on child protection in Kurdistan under the title "Protecting Children is Everyone's Responsibility Now and in the Future."
 

During the conference, after the presentation of several speeches, multiple panels were held by experts and specialists on topics such as child protection, children's conditions, psychological and health support, social development, and other related issues.
