Urmia… West Azerbaijan Governor visits Erbil Governor

On Thursday evening, May 1, 2025, Reza Rahmani, Governor of West Azerbaijan (Urmia), accompanied by a number of Members of Parliament of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Deputy Governor, and the Farmandars of the cities of Oshnavieh (Shno), Naqadeh, and Piranshahr, visited Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, at his place of residence.
 

In a meeting attended by the Head of Relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Head of the Haji Omaran International Border Crossing Complex, and staff from the representation, the Governor of West Azerbaijan, while offering a welcome, expressed his pleasure regarding the Erbil Governor's visit to their city.
 

For his part, the Governor of Erbil expressed his thanks for their visit and emphasized the further strengthening of relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and between the two cities of Erbil and Urmia.
