Erbil.. The Chinese Consulate opens a center for issuing entry visas

Today, Wednesday, January 24, 2024, in a ceremony attended by the Chinese Ambassador to Iraq, Cui Wei, Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw, the Consulate of China in Erbil inaugurated a center for issuing entry.
 

In a speech, Omed Khoshnaw, the Governor of Erbil, emphasized the significance of enhancing ties between the Kurdistan Region and China, particularly in trade and industry. 
 

The Governor of Erbil praised the embassy and consulate for opening the center, which aims to provide facilities to citizens, tourists, businessmen and investors, and described the opening as significant.
 

He added, "The opening of the Chinese visa issuance center in Erbil is very important for us, and we always asked for and emphasized the center's opening during meetings, because in the past, citizens had to travel to Baghdad or Istanbul to obtain visas."
 

It is worth mentioning that the China Visa Issuance Center is an official center of China and citizens and residents of the Kurdistan Region can apply for visas.
