In Erbil... Largest International Exhibition for Industrial and Construction Materials Opened
On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, with the presence of Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, Dr. Mohammed Shukri, Head of the Investment Board, Sarwar Kamal, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, consuls and representatives of various countries in Erbil, presidents and members of the Chamber of Commerce, and a number of other administrative officials and business figures, the "Seventh International Exhibition for Industrial and Construction Materials" was opened at the Erbil International Exhibition Center in the capital. This was done to advance and develop the industrial and construction sectors in the Kurdistan Region, display advanced reconstruction materials and equipment, and showcase the latest products. The exhibition featured the participation of (20) countries and (400) companies.
The exhibition, which will run for (3) days, displays the latest products, materials, and modern equipment specific to local industrial and construction material companies from the Kurdistan Region and foreign countries, presenting the newest works, products, and offers to citizens. This is of great importance for citizens to become closely acquainted with modern industrial and construction materials, equipment, and necessities.
After opening and touring the exhibition sections, the Governor of Erbil, while highly valuing this step, congratulated the supervisors and participating companies of the exhibition. He expressed hope that the opening of this exhibition would contribute to the further advancement of the industrial and construction sectors in the capital Erbil in particular, and the Kurdistan Region in general.
