Erbil Governor and French Consul General in Kurdistan Region: Reiterate Strengthening and Development of Historical and Friendly Relations
On Tuesday morning, February 3, 2026, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, was warmly welcomed by Yann Braem, Consul General of France, at the French Consulate General in the Kurdistan Region.
During a meeting, the French Consul General expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Governor of Erbil for his visit and for the facilities provided to the French Consulate General. He also reiterated the strengthening and development of the historical and friendly relations between the Kurdish people and France.
