Erbil: 2nd Anniversary of Baba Gurgur Artist

In the presence of Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw, Dr. Salar Osman, Deputy Ministry of Culture and a significant number of officials, artists, friends and family of the late artist, the second anniversary of the death of artist Kamaran Abdulrahman was held in the school activity hall It was organized by the Cultural Center and National Bands.
The governor of Erbil delivered a speech at the ceremony and pointed to the significant role of the late artist in the field of anthems and love for his nation that he had devoted his entire life, while pointing to the role of artist Kamaran Abdulrahman in the media. It is worth mentioning that a documentary film about the artistic life of Kamaran Abdulrahman was presented at the ceremony.

He was Born in 1964, he entered the field of art in 1987 and was a well-known musician who recorded more than fifty songs and anthems to Kurdish art. He died in 2020 at the age of 56 due to cancer.
