A memorandum of understanding was signed for the repair and renovation of the main street of Erbil Citadel

On Tuesday, December 20, 2022. Erbil Governor, Omed Khoshnaw and Sheikh Baz Al-Barzanji, owner of Kar Company, in the presence of Hemin Qadir and Massoud Karash, Deputies of Governor and UNESCO Representative in Iraq, Director of the High Commission of Erbil Citadel Revitalization and Sayed Sdiq Kaprani, Director of Endowments of Erbil and a number of other officials, on the Erbil Citadel, on duty of Sheikh Baz, they signed a memorandum of understanding for the repair and restoration of the main street of Erbil Citadel between the Governor of Erbil and Sheikh Baz, in collaboration with UNESCO and with the support of the European Union.

Before signing the memorandum, the governor and the owner of the company visited the minaret of the Great Mosque of Erbil Citadel and the governor thanked Sheikh Baz,for his contribution to the city as a philanthropist and a prominent person in Erbil in many fields and reaffirmed his support for their work.

Then the governor of Erbil and Sheikh Baz Al-Barzanji, in a special ceremony signed a memorandum of understanding for the repair and renovation of the main street of Erbil Citadel.
