The Governor of Erbil met with the General Directorate of Social Welfare and Development of Erbil

On Tuesday, February 21, 2023, the Governor of Erbil, Omed Khoshnaw, accompanied by the Deputy Governor, Hemin Qadir, visited the General Directorate of Social Welfare and Development in the Erbil Governorate, and met with the Director General of the Directorate and all the directors of the departments affiliated to the Directorate.

The governor thanked all the employees of the directorate for carrying out their duties to the fullest extent, despite the financial crisis that the regional government is going through. Emphasizing coordination and work in all institutions and departments within the borders of Erbil governorate as a unified system in serving the citizens and residents of the capital, Erbil, without discrimination.

Another topic of discussion at the meeting was how duties and tasks are carried out, with an emphasis on resolving the departments' shortcomings, problems, and needs.

In conclusion, the meeting participants expressed numerous opinions, proposals, and observations regarding the issues raised in the meeting, and they discussed deficiencies and needs, and the governor of Erbil expressed his assistance and readiness to provide any and all necessary support.
