Last year alone, 1086 service projects were carried out in Erbil governorate

In 2022, (1086) various projects and types of necessary services were implemented equally and without discrimination in all districts and villages of Erbil governorate at a cost of (284 billion 373 million 295 thousand dinars). Including: -

(132) service projects at a cost of (84 billion and 644 million dinars) on Erbil governorate’s development budget, (45) uncompleted projects during the financial crisis at a cost of (24 billion and 608 million dinars), and (390) other projects at a cost of (14 billion 89 million 649 thousand dinars) on Erbil governorate’s emergency budget.

This is in addition to the implementation of (74) other projects at a cost of (15 billion 502 million 336 thousand dinars) on 15% of the Presidency of Erbil Municipality's revenue and the General Directorate of Municipalities, most of the projects were paving and repairing roads, with the construction of several pedestrian bridges in the main streets of Erbil on the budget of the Ministry of Interior and the revenue of the Erbil Traffic Directorate and (210) projects at a cost of (18 billion 759 million dinars) on 8% of the revenue of Erbil General Directorate of Electricity.
In addition, several projects to prevent the drought have been completed at a cost of (12 billion 876 million 72 thousand dinars), including the drilling of (130) new wells and the provision of continuous electricity to the wells via private generators. Solving technical problems of wells and widening and deepening most of the wells in Erbil governorate.

Erbil governorate has completed preparations for the implementation of several other service projects for the year 2023.
