President Nechirvan Barzani meets with Estonia’s President Alar Karis

President Nechirvan Barzani welcomed President Alar Karis of Estonia and his delegation in his office in Erbil on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.
 

During the meeting, the two leaders expressed their shared interest in strengthening bilateral relations between Estonia, Iraq, and the Kurdistan Region. They particularly emphasized the importance of enhancing trade and cooperation in various sectors, with a focus on areas such as IT, e-government, and institution building, where Estonia’s expertise can greatly benefit the Kurdistan Region.

The Kurdistan Regional Government President thanked the people and government of Estonia for their assistance to the Kurdistan Region within the framework of the international coalition.
