The National Day of the People's Republic of China Was Celebrated

On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, participated in the ceremony of the National Day of the People's Republic of China, which was organized by the country's consulate on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of China.

In the ceremony, which was attended by representatives of Kurdish political parties and high-ranking government officials, the Governor of Erbil praised the importance of the relationship between the People's Republic of China and the Kurdistan Region, particularly in terms of trade, technology, and culture. He congratulated the Ambassador and Consul of China on the occasion, wished them success, and emphasized strengthening relations between the Governorate and the Chinese Consulate in the capital Erbil.
Finally, after the completion of the Chinese Park, which was a gift from the country's consulate in the capital Erbil, it was handed over to the Kurdistan Regional Government and received by the Governor of Erbil and the Mayor of Erbil.
