Erbil… Celebrating Turkish Coffee International Day

Today, Thursday, December 5, 2024, a special ceremony was held to mark Turkish Coffee International Day, attended by Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil; Safeen Dizayee, Head of the Department of Foreign Relations for the Kurdistan Regional Government, Aydin Maruf, Minister of Region for Component Affairs, Ari Nanakali, Head of Branch 16, Anil Bora Inan, Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Erman Topcu, new Turkish Consul General in Erbil, along with several prominent figures in Erbil.
 

During the ceremony, discussions were held on the benefits and importance of drinking Turkish coffee, its history, the development of coffee trade, and the culture of its cultivation in Turkey.
