In Erbil... The National Day of the Islamic Republic of Iran Was Celebrated

This afternoon, Monday, February 9, 2026, in the presence of Fazil Mirani, Head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party's Political Bureau Executive Board; Hoshiyar Zebari, Member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party's Political Bureau Executive Board; Fawzi Hariri, Head of the Kurdistan Region Presidency Diwan; Pshtiwan Sadiq, Minister of Endowments; Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil; Safin Dizayee, Head of the KRG Department of Foreign Relations; and a number of other KDP Political Bureau members, ministers, advisors to the President of the Region, representatives of Kurdish political parties and factions, and consuls, envoys, and diplomats from various countries, the ceremony commemorating the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran was held in Erbil. The event was organized by the General Consulate of Iran in Erbil.
During the ceremony, while offering congratulations, emphasis was placed on further developing relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Islamic Republic of Iran and advancing various areas of cooperation and partnership between both sides.
